The first warships of the Russian naval flotilla bound for the Russian base at Tartus, Syria, are putting into the Cypriot port to re-supply and rest their crews – a naval auxiliary vessel Monday, followed by the Smetliv frigate Sunday. More Russian warships are expected to stop over in Cyprus in the coming days.
