Two Israeli soldiers, including one reservist, were killed Thursday afternoon when the military truck they were traveling in overturned near the southern city of Eilat.
Following the accident, the IDF decided to temporarily halt all travel by its vehicles, except for operations, on Friday in order to refresh driver safety instructions. The head of the IDF's technology and logistics branch, Maj. Gen. Aharon Haliwa, set up a committee to investigate the deadly accident, and the IDF Military Police launched an investigation of its own.
