The blast attributed to the Turkish Kurdistan Workers Party (PKK) occurred in the eastern Turkish town of Eleskirt in Agri province Thursday night, halting the flow of Iranian natural gas to Turkey.  The Turkish soldiers were reportedly on the scene for “a special operation.”
