DEBKAfile’s military sources report that the two US-manned Patriots for Turkey, out of the six assigned by NATO, are positioned closest of them all to the Syrian border at Gaziantep. From there, they command Aleppo and Idlib province air space and guard the US military-intelligence command post attached to rebel headquarters in that town. The other four are deployed in two southern Turkish border cities - two German Patriot batteries at Kahramanmaras and two Dutch-operated ones at Adana.
