First degree murder suspect
Gunman shouting “Heil Hitler!” murdered 3 people, injured two at two Kansas Jewish centers
DEBKAfile Special Report April 14, 2014

A 70-year old man shot dead three people, including a grandfather and his grandson, and injured two Sunday, April 14, at two Jewish centers in Kansas City before being taken into custody. He was heard shouting “Heil Hitler!” The police say they have not identified him except that he was not a local resident. A Johnson County sheriff's database named the shooter as Frazier Glenn Cross, 73, an avowed white supremacist. He is suspected of first-degree murder, and may be charged with a hate-crime. The FBI is on the case. The two Jewish centers were placed under heavy police guard.

From the Iranian anti-Semitic film "Sabbath Hunter"
Iran moves on from "Destroy Israel!" to "Destroy all the Jews!"
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report December 3, 2011

Amid international and Israeli controversy over whether or not to attack Iran's nuclear program, the rulers of the Islamic Republic have just "upgraded" their strategic objective of wiping Israel off the map and extended it for the first time to the more ambitious one of annihilating the Jews worldwide. A virulently anti-Semitic book and film were released for nationwide distribution on orders from Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. They draw heavily on the infamous Elders of Zion fiction of a Jewish world conspiracy.

Pope John Paul II and the Jews: "You are our elder brothers."
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report April 2, 2005
The most peripatetic of all pontiffs, the waving white-cassocked figure of Pope John Paul II and his popemobile - bulletproofed since the 1981 attempt on his life - became a legendary figure as he crisscrossed the world's map for more than 20 years.
One of the longest and most moving of his trips was his weeklong millennium pilgrimage to the Holy Land, not only as a Christian but as a Pole, who grew up with Jews and mourned Jewish friends, neighbors and former playmates, who perished in the Nazi Holocaust. His tearful embrace with a Shoah survivor at the Yad Vashem Holocaust Memorial Center in Jerusalem was spontaneous and heartfelt.
Israel-Swedish Diplomatic Row over Pro-Palestinian Art Exhibit
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report January 17, 2004
An undiplomatic act by Israel's ambassador to Sweden has switched the spotlight on a virulent strain of anti-Semitism sweeping West Europe that draws its moral legitimacy from demonizing the Jewish state. What better symbol of this hybrid object of hate than the exhibit whose plug ambassador Zvi Mazel furiously pulled? The exhibit consists of the photo of the female Palestinian suicide bomber who blew 21 Israelis to their deaths in a Haifa restaurant on October 4; it is planted on a boat floating serenely on a large pool of red water. Labeled "Snow White", it was shown in an exhibition that opened Friday night, January 16, at Stockholm's Museum of National Antiquities, part of an upcoming conference on genocide hosted by the Swedish government.
Saudi Hand behind Egypt's Anti-Jewish TV Serial
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report November 4, 2002
This week, two Egyptian TV channels begin running an extravagantly-produced serial based on the notorious Protocols of the Elders of Zion, an anti-Jewish document fabricated by the Tsar's secret police in the early 20th century and decisively judged a forgery by historians. It will be aired nightly during the peak viewing period of the Muslim Ramadan, by two Egyptian channels - Dream TV, a private satellite channel, and the state-run Channel 2.
debkafile's Middle East sources report "The Horse without Horseman" was produced by Arab Radio and Television of Saudi Arabia as an epic that was written, directed and played by Egyptians. It portrays the fictional Elders, the purported blueprint for Jewish global domination, as historical fact and, in a mishmash of periods, makes it also the guiding principle of Israeli policy. A director of the program says the series "is based on the history of Zionism".
Iran's Jewish Prisoners - Hostages to Its Trade Ties
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report November 2, 2002
A small group of Iranian Jews - between three and eight - is missing.
After announcing their imminent release from jail, no one in the Islamic Republic now admits to knowing their whereabouts. DEBKA-Net-Weekly's Tehran sources have established that the men never reached their homes, leaving their families gravely concerned.
The closed-door trial in July 2000 in the southern Iranian city of Shiraz which convicted thirteen Iranian Jews of spying for the "Zionist regime" was widely condemned internationally. It was held in a "revolutionary" court, in which the judge is also prosecutor. The sentences handed down ranged from eight to twelve years.
An Israeli Writer's One-Way Mirror
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report October 3, 2002
The Israeli writer and novelist David Grossman, in an article published in the New York Times Tuesday, October 1, lays out his theory that Israelis know only the side of their conflict with the Palestinians that Israel chooses to tell itself. He writes: "The story that now reigns nearly unchallenged in the media and political discourse obliterates more than 33 years of roadblocks, thousands of prisoners and untold numbers of deportations and killings of innocent people." Grossman claims that Israelis act as though "there had never been long months of closures, ... no humiliations, no incessant harassment, ... no bulldozing of hundreds of homes, no uprooting of vineyards and olive groves..."
Near Elections, France Finally Guards Jewish Sites
DEBKAfile Exclusive Report April 2, 2002
As the French presidential election campaign peaked, a spate of serious arson attacks on Jewish synagogues forced reluctant French leaders to address the country's long-running and fast-spreading anti-Semitic campaign with action.
