Condition worsens of mother and child injured in Ofra junction terror attack
Surgeons delivered the baby of a 21-year old pregnant woman by Caesarean section overnight Sunday, Dec. 9, while operating on the gunshot wounds the mother sustained in a Palestinian drive-by shooting Sunday night, Dec. 9, at the Ofra bus stop in Binyamin, Samaria. The baby’s condition declined overnight, while the doctors are trying to stabilize the mother after hours of surgery. Two of the seven people injured in the attack were seriously hurt, one of them was her husband who was evacuated with his wife to Shaarei Zedek hospital in Jerusalem. The others, most of them teens, suffered slight injuries. The car sped away from the scene after the attack. Monday morning, IDF troops and the Shin Bet were still searching for the terrorists – at least two were seen in the car. Overnight they combed through the nearby village of Silwad east of Ramallah.
DEBKAfile: The IDF and Shin Bet suspect that this Ofra attack may been the work of the fugitive terrorist who on Oct. 7 murdered Ziv Hajbi from Rishon Lezion and Kim Levengrund-Yehazkel from Rosh Ha’Ayin in the Barkan industrial area. The killer, Ashraf Naalwa, 23, from Shweika village near Tulkarm, has not been apprehended and was believed to be planning to continue his terrorist rampage against Israeli targets.
President Trump’s special ME ambassador Jason Greenblatt condemened the attack and UN Ambassador Nikki Haley called on Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas to stop its payments to terrorists.

I hope the mother and her child will be ok. She is far to young to have had enough time to really understand what she was involved in. Indoctrination no-doubt starts at a very early age in Israel…
Still at 21 she had most likely served in the IDF so if she was old enough to kill then she is fair game if she was living in the occupied territories in my book.
Think of this as WW2 and the Palestinians are the resistance fighters doing what little they can to disrupt / degrade / destroy the occupation forces.
Settlers are always part of the final solution to change the facts on the ground in a very permanent way so even though this is horrific she was very much part of the ISRAELI FINAL SOLUTION to the Palestinian problem
@Tommy – fyi: the Palestinians were allied with the Nazis. The Nazis lost (unconditionl surrender), but the Palestinians don’t want to recognize it. This is the problem.

I agree. It is time for Israel to stand up and respond with Force against hamas, and closing the Lebanese tunnels into Israel, as the consequences of inaction will only get worse the longer Israel waits.
Right now hamas and hezbollah recognize all Israel has is war of words, with no real action except for bombing empty building. Hopeless.
The longer Israel waits to respond with Force, the stronger the enemy becomes. It is better to deal with a small problem now than a larger problem in the future.

Although, it won’t admit it, but Hezbollah is still renewing its losses from the Syria Civil War years while talking tough, Hezbollah knows a war with Israel is not the right time and will be very destructive to its own existence. It is a Dream of Hezbollah to expand its influence in Syria Southern region. This why Hezbollah chose to support the Bashar Al-Assad Regime.
At the same time, this fits perfectly with the Iranian Regime expanding its Revolutionary Zeal to solidify Iran’s influence in Syria. Both have provided supplying Rockets, Weapons, and New Guided Missile Technology. This kind of Provocation required an Israeli Response Jet Air and Missile Strikes.
Nonetheless, if or when conflicts arises America is preparing to work with Middle East Regional Allies to stand up to Hezbollah and Iran’s expansions into Syria. Iran also shifted to using Palestinian Islamic Jihad Proxies in Gaza way back in October but still remains silent so as not to speak freely for a real future confrontation. However, Gaza as always is a much smaller problem compared to Hezbollah North and Iran’s threats in Syria South Border to Israel now. What will happen depends on those that blink first or make a mistake or cause a preemptive strike that will cause an ultimate response?

The Israelis have been doing that within Syria for some time now, but the Soviets (oops…….I meant the Russians) are now supplying Iranian and Hezbollah units within Syria with S-300 missile batteries along with Russian military personnel to operate them.
The last 6 words in the paragraph above are really the key to the gravity of this situation.
What happens if they get taken out which may at some point be necessary?
