Gantz, Lapid, Ashkenazi set up joint list for Knesset election

First real threat to Binyamin Netanyahu’s Likud: Benny Gantz and Yair Lapid agree to join their Hossen Le’Yisrael and Future parties for the election run, joined by Gabi Ashkenazi. another former IDF Chief of Staff. Ganz and Lapid agree to rotate the leadership between them. The first four spots of list submitted for registration just in time for the Feb. 21 deadline are: Gantz, Lapid, Moshe Ya’alon and Gabi Ashkenazi. The first two agree to rotate the premiership between them – Gantz in the first two and-a-half years; Lapid in the next year and-a-half.

A joint statement said: “Motivated by national responsibility, Benny Gantz, Yair Lapid, and Bogie Ya’alon have decided to establish a joint list that will constitute the new Israeli ruling party. “The new ruling party will bring forth a cadre of security and social leaders to ensure Israel’s security and to reconnect its people and heal the divide within Israeli society.” The creation of this new political entity whose leadership is dominated by three former chiefs of staff is a national earthquake. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has the rest of the day to produce a competitive list of candidates ahead of the tough campaign ahead of him for re-election on April 9.

They are all leftists. That’s a problem. They want to ‘rotate” who is “boss”. Yeah..I can really see that working. More squabbling coming, more indecision while they work out their naivety and who is going to be responsible when a bad decision or no decision is made…lots of finger pointing coming…. I actually dont like Bibi that much, and yes a change might be nice, but not this “change”.

3 generals! WOW! Israel’s own military junta..just like Argentina had… the first casualty of this regime will be Lapid; how will he fit into the general’s club? After that they fight amongst each other like strutting roosters.

      Well said –

It’s crystal clear it will be a ‘King of the Kahanist Dungheap’ game as the One State torn from Apartheid takes shape. Faster, please

Lapid is a dirt bag and a big loser. The media keeps trying to make Netanyahu look bad but it won’t work.

To form a coalition they would need 12 Arab MPs to support them. If they did this – especially under the present circumstances of Iran-Hezbollah, Hamas and increased terror in Yehud and Shomron – they are NO “generals”!

The funniest thing is how American media blackout on Kahanist Israel isn’t even reporting it – as if the rest of the world doesn’t exist. Comeuppance for MSNBC is coming down da pike

The moment Wolf Blitzer says ‘Apartheid’ and ‘Israel’ in the same sentence, or even ‘Apartheid Israel’ – America free of the Lobby is off to the races! Watch his lips
