Hamas rocket intercepted hours after balloon attack from Gaza

An IDF Iron Dome battery intercepted a Palestinian rocket fired against the Eshkol region overnight Wednesday, June 12, after swarms of incendiary balloons from Gaza set off a dozen fires in the region. The IDF responded to the Hamas balloon offensive by imposing a naval blockade on Gaza waters, preventing local fishermen from putting out to sea. In response to the rocket attack, the Israel Air Force early Thursday struck a Hamas “subterranean military structure at a Hamas compound” in the Rafah region of southern Gaza.

The renewed exchanges between Israel and Palestinian terrorist organizations in Gaza come just a month and a half after Hamas fired 700 rockets into Israel.

The IDF handled it before and can handle it again. Hamas is and always will be Small Potatoes that will boil over at times, then cooled and peeled, and smashed into more Hamas Hash!

Good question Syd. Does the IDF have no decent shooters to shoot down the balloons, sending them down in flames inside Gaza? Or maybe Blabla doesn’t have the stones to order it? A trick or two with that, and possibly the Gazans will find other uses for the balloons.

Yes, another cash call by Hamas. How much will Israel pay for 10 days of peace?

Hamas must be laughing at Isreal. This is totally absurd.

It is absurd, excellent adjective, but short of full scale invasion, with the mess that brings, what is your solution? Presumably, you could force Qatar to stop the payments…..but who wants to be the caretaker there?

WW2 the allies used flame throwers burn them alive as they like fire so much.
Hamas literally the shots and Israel follows.
Of course when the target again becomes tel aviv and only then will Israel respond in a proper banner. In the meantime local people have to accept the quid pro quid shame upon this scared government
