At a news conference in Beirut, the Hizballah chief promised a quiet border if his terms are accepted. He said he does not seek a regional flare-up, only the prisoners. That decision was taken without reference to the Gaza situation. But Hizballah has been preparing for five years for a confrontation if that is what Israel wants. He mocked Israeli prime minister, defense minister and chief of staff as “tyros.”
