In his first policy statement, interim Israel PM Ehud Olmert said Israel will not tolerate enemies controlling weapons of mass destruction that threaten its existence

Asked if he was talking about military action against Iran, Olmert said Israel cannot accept the Iranian nuclear threat – any more than the EU and US – and will continue to act in conjunction with those powers.
Earlier, an Israeli delegation to the strategic dialogue with Russia left for Moscow led by national security adviser Giora Eiland.
He promised to go ahead with the removal of illegal outposts as soon as the courts finished procession petitions and withdrew injunctions.
Olmert also confirmed Israel’s commitment to the Middle East road map, stipulating that before talks the Palestinian side must first crack down on terror
