Iran already has 13 bases in Syria and tens of thousands of troops. Is their removal realistic?

Defense Minister Avigdor Lieberman again warned Wednesday, Nov. 15, that Israel would not permit Iran to establish a military presence in Syria, and the skeptics would soon discover this. Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu said earlier this week that Israel reserves its freedom of military action in Syria to defend its borders.
Strong words about not letting Iran establish a military presence in Syria have also come from US President Donald Trump and Saudi Crown Prince Muhammad. The Saudi prince, who orchestrated Lebanese prime minister Saad Hariri’s flight to curtail Iran’s hold on Beirut, has summoned a conference of Syrian opposition leaders for Nov. 28, to create a powerful new bloc against Bashar Assad and his Iranian sponsors..

So how far and how deep is Iran’s grip on Syria?  What are the facts? An answer with full details is provided in the coming DEBKA Weekly #778 issue out Friday in an exclusive rundown, the first ever, of Iran’s military deployment in Syria, naming each of its 13 bases, place by place. This deployment is so extensive and organized, that talk of removing Iran’s military presence from that country is by now unrealistic without a major upheaval.

Just remember that when it comes right down to it: “A bad press beats a glowing eulogy any day of the week.” If it takes the slaughter of Israel’s enemies on a biblical scale, then so be it.

Go ahead and see how you can do it without seeing retaliation.
You are talking about attacking IRANIAN SOLDIERS officially and you really dare?

After all they ate invited with fill permission just like Russian are.

Hitting one or two Hez here and there is one thing, hitting a base even one , Iranian base is another ball game I don’t thing Israel can handle.

Obviously you do not know what you are talking about. There are not many camels in Iran as a matter of fact Australia is the only country with feral herds of camels, the largest population in the world. It has the only herd of dromedary (one-humped) camels exhibiting wild behaviour in the world but being from Texas it is expected from you more like cattle. I do not know what camels have done to you, it will be a good idea for you to change your name to Jim camel, it suits you better.

Go and read Winograd report commissioned by Israeli government and you see how good the Israeli Occupation Forces are On the military front there were tactical, operative and logistic failures, including the flow of intelligence.[15] Many Israeli commanders and troops were ill-prepared and ill-trained to meet the combat conditions, in particular, with respect to Hezbollah’s use of portable antitank weapons, such as the 9К115-2 Metis-M. Unlike in Gaza and the West Bank, troops inside armor,[16] or taking shelter in houses, became highly vulnerable to these weapons, which led to the majority of Israeli military casualties in the war. As well, with the mobilization of reserve divisions, a host of logistical failures, such as ordnance and food shortages,[17] began affecting reserve soldiers.

They could not defeat Hezbollah and had to leave with their tails between their legs that is how good they are a real army lol and Lieberman can go back to Moldova , may he was a good bouncer but even that is questionable!

      War is terrible terrible shit.
But if fighting is to be done, yeah, then so be it. Maybe not quite one of attrition, proxies and attrition plus russians lurking around are the worst combination ever.
On the other hand, in the long process of possibly redesigning borders and territories for kurds, it is most likely Golan might want to make to decision to stay with his soldiers.
Only that good karma and decisions come easier when it is winter, and Europe depends very badly on russian natural gas.

Putin is the Biblical Gog, from the land of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal. He is the hypocrite deceiver par excellence. But, always a but; according to The Bible, he is already defeated as it is written im Yechezk’el 38: 3 and 4, and hooks will be put in his mouth.

Yec 38:3 And say, This is what the Lord has said: See, I am against you, O Gog, ruler of Rosh, Meshech, and Tubal:
Yec 38:4 And turning you round, I will put hooks in your mouth and make you come out with all your army…

So, Israel, be aware…but be assured; The Almighty is fighting Putin and his allies for you.

With respect, what about the Ezekiel 38-39 previso that Israel be dwelling safely in unwalled villages when Gog attacks?

“‘This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On that day thoughts will come into your mind and you will devise an evil scheme. You will say, “I will invade a land of unwalled villages; I will attack a peaceful and unsuspecting people—all of them living without walls and without gates and bars. I will plunder and loot and turn my hand against the resettled ruins and the people gathered from the nations, rich in livestock and goods, living at the center of the land.”

Now you know why in Ezekiel’s Ch 37-39 it does not mention Jordan, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, Israel’s immediate neighbors. It is because with Israel they were fighting the Russians, Iran, Syria, Turkey, etc. 20+ years ago we never knew why Israel neighbors were not mentioned. Now we know why. We must be very close to this war. I predict that because of this next middle east war, someone is going to find the Ark of the Covenant and settle the issue of who’s definition of God is correct. Read the book “God’s Day of Judgment” that has an answer for the future.

I have to tell you in all reality, that Israel can & will wipe out hezbollah ans iranian presence in syria and Lebanon. I think you miss a major point here, about last Israeli/hezbollah war.
Israel did not use even partially its capacity in that war, as it would have caused mass lebanese civilian casualties and it was not a good thing politically at that point in time.
Israel sacrificed its soldiers to avoid this scenario, but if they push Israel a bit to far, they are going to mistake a kindness with weakness.
hezbolah was not a major threat to Israel in the full sense, but iran is.
I really think that if they push Israel too far, weapons you can not even dream of may be used to finish this once and for all, and I am not talking nuke.
      Have a good day, Shalom.

Neither israelis nor iranians want to die. Obviously, the only way for Israel to win the outcome of a war with Iran would mean having to resort to Nukes. Unfortunately, before it is able to resort to using them, the vast majority of the country would be destroyed by Iran.
I am talking about persian warriors and strategists here, not arabs.
Why do Israelis and Iranians hate each other so much?
Maybe just because they are so much alike, proud and arrogant, staunch believers in holding out the mighty truth.

I do not want to keep on too much on this possible Israel/iran conflict, but I can say for sure that iran has no chance against Israel in a proper war. Modern war is no longer fought by feet on the ground, i.e. it is NOT a numbers game – it is fought technologically, and in this arena, Israel is far ahead of the rest of the world.
There are weapons in Israeli arsenal that Israel has held back for far to long in it’s use, and I am not even talking nukes….I do not need to say more, Jews are not stupid people and will never, ever allow another even small genocide on our people, ever.

It’s not wise to invite situations that could result in the use of the Samson option. Iran is ruled by a sect that wants to create a situation that brings their Mahdi. Don’t take the bait. War is hell and if anyone is to be the Aggressor with a capital A, then let it be the Iranians.
While i believe in the literal fulfillment of prophecy, a good student of prophecy will know that the Bible is written so that the fulfillment is best seen in hind sight. You can’t go molding current realities to a prophecy that may still be decades away. Having as much prophecy unfold in the last 100 years, after next to nothing for 19 centuries, it makes me think that the end of human government as we know it is not far away. But until humans bring humanity to the brink of extinction, we are going to have to contend with idiotic leaders in various countries.
