Just-ended week-long Cyber Storm tested US responses to Internet attack on American infrastructure

The biggest war game of its kind simulated attacks by hackers or bloggers on utilities such as power grids, banking systems, transportation and health care services, whether by misinformation, infection or other disruptions. It was carried out from isolated secure computers in the basement of the Secret Service in Washington. Some 115 government agencies and companies, from the White House down, as well as Canada, Australian and British officials, participated in the exercise.
