Another Saudi security officer gunned down in Eastern Region
A Saudi security officer was killed and a second was wounded in a drive-by shooting Sunday while on patrol in the Eastern Province city of Qatif. Last week, gunmen shot dead two security officers in nearby Dammam and two were gunned down there in September. Much of Saudi oil production is centered in the Eastern Province, which is home to a large Shiite Muslims community, among which Tehran actively supports a subversive underground.
