Obama finally calls San Bernardino attack an act of terror
President Barack Obama for first time Saturday referred to the mass shooting at San Bernardino as an “act of terror,” after the FBI made this determination and ISIS stated that its “followers” had committed the attack. However, the US President refrained from referring to Islamic terror – just “radicalized individuals,” adding there was no proof that they acted on behalf of any broader terror organization. Obama concluded by using the incident to push his drive for gun control legislation.
