Up to 100 warplanes in Israel for multinational Blue Flag air force drill

The Blue-Flag-17 exercise has brought to Israel nearly 100 warplanes and hundreds of crew from the US, France, Germany, Italy, Greece and Poland, for a two-week multi-layer international training drill which takes place every two years. India is taking part for the first time with 45 members of its elite Guard Commando Force who arrived aboard C-130J Super Hercules aircraft. The exercise, the largest ever, began Sunday, with the roar of planes flying overhead heard across the country.

wow thanks for letting us know. I’m in Israel and am hearing planes overhead all day. This usually means the US is involved in Syria. So cool, it’s just a drill this time. Good to know.

Why UK, Australia and N zealand are absent? To celebrate the balfourt letter and battle of beersheva? With theirs Eurofighters to join and help to train israel pilots? I miss the rafales ( India)?, gripens ( could be from checz),and Russian equipaments.
