Two Negev Bedouin detained on suspicion of murdering Sgt. Ron Kukia

The two Bedouin are suspected of murdering Sgt. Ron Kukia, 19, a member of the Nahal Brigade, last Thursday in the southern town of Arad – in an act of terrorism. The Shin Bet and Police Special Force tracked them down 24 hours after the murder. One of the two suspects, residents of the southern Israeli Negev, implicated himself by pointing detectives to the place where he had hidden the sidearm he had stolen from the soldier after stabbing him to death. A gag order covers the identity of the suspects and the investigation.
