A special Security Council meeting hears Dr. Leah Goldin

A special informal meeting of a UN Security Council forum was convened Friday by the US and Ukraine to hear Dr. Leah Goldin’s call for the return of the remains of her son, Hadar, an Israeli soldier whom the Palestinian Hamas terrorist group has refused to hand over to his family for three years. She was supported by Professor Irwin Cotler, the former Minister of Justice and Attorney General of Canada, and an international human rights lawyer, who briefed the Council. Israel’s Israeli Ambassador Danny Danon noted, “For more than three years Hamas has cruelly held Israeli civilians and the remains of our soldiers hostage in violation of international law and treaties. The international community must fulfill its responsibilities and pressure Hamas until this unacceptable situation is resolved,” The session focused on Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul, the two Israelis soldiers who died in action in Gaza  and are held back by Hamas,  as well as two Israel civilians held captive, Abraham Mengistu and Hisham al-Sayed.

Cut off their fucking electricity until they hand over the remains. Why Israel? Why? What is wrong with you guys? Apparently muscum bodies are repatriated – so why not this soldier’s body in return? This sort thing just beggars belief…

I doubt that it is against their religion to release Dr. Goldin’s son. This sort of disrespect is more to do with individual fiendishness. Absolutely abhorrent.
