Yemeni Houthis attack and damage  Saudi ship

DEBKAfile’s military sources report that Yemen’s Iran-backed Houthi rebels struck and damaged a Saudi ship on the Red Sea as it passed Jizan Saturday. Some of the crew are reported injured. Jizan is the southernmost province of Saudi Arabia and its waters are the farthermost point in the Red Sea which Houthi assailant have ever reached.  There are no further details on the weapons used for the attack or the identity of the targeted vessel. Riyadh has imposed a blackout on the incident.
