Remaining portions of Surfside building demolished

Controlled explosions at the collapsed wing of the Champlain Towers South condo in Surfside, Florida took place on Monday in a race against the advancing Tropical Storm Elsa. The cleared area opened up new places for the rescue teams to resume their search in greater security. Eleven days into the operation, 24 bodies have been discovered and 121 people are still unaccounted for.
