30,000 mourners pay last respects to Sgt. Max Steinberg

Some 30,000 mourners were moved spontaneously to attend the funeral of Sgt. Max Steinberg, 24, a lone soldier from Los Angeles who enlisted with the IDF and was one of the 13 Golani Brigades fighters who died in the Gaza Strip Sunday. Sgt. Steinberg was one of the two American IDF volunteers to be killed in action in the Gaza Strip. He made his home in Beersheba.
