“A rare opening for a comprehensive Mid East peace pact”

The Mossad sees “a rare opportunity at this moment for a regional understanding leading to a comprehensive peace accord” between Israel and the Arab world, said Mossad Director Yossie Cohen at a lecture in Tel Aviv. He explained: “Shared interests and the struggle against shared enemies, together generate a window of opportunity that may never recur.”

Daniel describes that time in Daniel 9:27:

“He [the ruler at that time] will confirm a covenant [peace treaty] with many for one ‘seven.’ In the middle of the ‘seven’ he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And at the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation.”

When Yeshua was asked about His coming and the end of the age (Matthew 24:3–15), He referred to the above verse.

This pact (if any) should’ve been in place a long time ago; especially after Kuwait invasion and the hatred shown by most of Arab countries toward the Arab Gulf States. Will it be a different this time? Let’s wait & see.

Just like the “bad” and “good” pair, the pair of words “palestinian” and “peace” are well known antonyms.

    Yirmiyahu – Jeremiah – Chapter 8

    Chapter 8

    3. And death shall be preferable to life for all the residue that remain of this evil family…

… They have held on to deceit, they refuse to repent. ה.

…My people do not know the ordinance of the Lord. ז.

    8. How do you say, “We are wise, and the Law of the Lord is with us”? Verily, behold it is in vain, he made a false scribes’ pen. ח.

    11. And they healed the breach of My people easily, saying, “Peace, peace,” but there is no peace. יא.

    13. I will utterly consume them, says the Lord.

    15. We hoped for peace, but no good came; for a time of healing, but behold, terror. טו.

    17. For behold, I am sending you serpents, adders which cannot be charmed, and they shall bite you, says the Lord. יז.
