My dear Frank, are you aware, that USA refused to supply its trustworthy and faithful ally with necessary air defence systems for TEN years, despite repeated demands. Openly supported the two arch enemies of Turkey, two terrorist organizations, Fethullah and PKK (YPG) instead? Is this the appropriate behaviour and goodwill for NATO alliance ?
For the last 10 years at least since the Mavi Marmara incident, Turkey has shown that it is NOT a trustworthy and faithful ally, at all.

Can Turkey menace America by Russian S-400 Missile System. America is afraid about Turkey to deal for buying Russian S-400 defence missile system. Because if Turkey admits the S-400 missile system into own air defence they will be more strong. So America faces difficulties to control the establishment of Turkey government. Because Turkey is an ally of Russia and has junior membership in the SCO. The bizarre part of this is that the NATO countries know this but are just hoping that an earthquake will happen in Turkey to wipe out Erdogan and his party.

The S-400 is probably a fairly competent weapons system but so far as I can tell it isn’t really battle-tested so we really don’t know for sure.
The Russian government has a tendency to over-state the operational capability of their equipment.
