A suicide bomber blows himself up at Hamas checkpoint

Officials in Gaza report that a Palestinian suicide bomber early Thursday blew himself up at a Hamas checkpoint on the Egyptian border, injuring several Hamas operatives. One died later. They attributed the attack to the Islamic State. A man accompanying the suicide bomber was also wounded. This was the first case of Hamas forces in Gaza being targeted themselves by a suicide bomber for a terrorist attack.
