A US mayor killed in insider attack while serving in Afghanistan

Brent Taylor, 39, the mayor of North Ogden, Utah, was killed in Kabul on Saturday while serving in the US Army National Guard helping to train members of the Afghan security forces. Another service member was wounded. The attacker is reported to be a member of the Afghan National Defense and Security forces. He was shot by other Afghan forces after opening fire. Mayor Taylor leaves a wife and seven young children.
