A US vessel fires on boat off UAE coast, killing one, injuring three

 A boat was fired on by a US vessel off the coast of the United Arab Emirates, killing one person and injuring three. A US Defense official said the boat approached a US Navy ship and failed to respond to warnings. It was described as a small white pleasure craft.
