Abbas will re-submit Palestinian UN motion for Israel’s withdrawal

Palestinian leader Mahmoud Abbas said Sunday that the Palestinian Authority will file a second application to the UN Security Council to set a timeline for Israel’s withdrawal to pre-1967 lines for Palestinian statehood. The first application was defeated by a majority vote last Wednesday. The US has promised to veto this resolution too if it wins a majority vote.
