Abu Mazen to attend funeral of Shimon Peres in Jerusalem

Palestinian Authority Chairman Abu Mazen announced Thursday that he and four other senior officials from the authority will attend the funeral of former Israeli President Shimon Peres on Friday. Egypt's Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry will also be in attendance. However, the head of Israel's Joint List party, Ayman Odeh, announced that he will not come to the funeral, saying that Peres "brought disaster upon my people."
