Afghan police hold female child would-be suicide bomber

An Afghan child, believed 8-10 years old was detained in southern Afghanistan Monday wearing a suicide bomber’s vest. The child, identified as Spozhmai, sister of a Taliban commander, was instructed to carry out a suicide attack on border police in Helmand province, the BBC reports.
