After 10 serious cases, pregnant women told to get covid vaccination

At least 10 pregnant women have been admitted to hospital in seriously condition with coronavirus. They were not vaccinated against the virus because their youth placed them low on the priority chart. But on Tuesday, the Health Ministry urged them to get themselves immunized without delay. Ministry labs have embarked on PCR tests to find out if these women fell prey to one of the ultra-contagious virus mutants, the UK or the South African variants. The vaccine manufactures and WHO have not so far advised pregnant women to received shots because this group was not  included in their trials.
