Al Qaeda affiliate killed almost 200 Kenyan troops in attack: report

More than 180 Kenyan soldiers serving in Somalia as part of an African Union peacekeeping force were killed in January when terrorists from the Al Shabab organization, affiliated with Al Qaeda, attacked their base in el-Ade in the southwestern part of the country, reports said Thursday.
