Al Shabaab claims truck bomb that killed at least 22 in Mogadishu

In central Mogadishu, a large truck bomb explosion on Tuesday afternoon killed at least 22 people and injured dozens near the Somali presidential compound and a large hotel. The hotel is frequented by foreigners, including UN personnel and journalists. Automatic gunfire followed the blast. The Al-Shabaab Islamists claimed the attack.
