All flights to and from the UAE may pass through Saudi skies

Riyadh announced on Wednesday that the airliners of all nations bound for or leaving the UAE will henceforth be permitted to pass through Saudi air space, in response to a request from the Emirates. Israel was not mentioned in the announcement. However, it followed on the historic precedent of the first Israeli commercial flight to pass through the kingdom’s air space this week after the UAE established normal relations with the Jewish State,
