Amarillo Walmart hostage-taker was Muslim immigrant from Iran

Mohammad Moghaddam, a 54-year-old Muslim who immigrated to the US eight years ago, was identified as the gunman who took two hostages on Tuesday at a Walmart store where he worked in Amarillo, Texas, before being shot dead during a brief exchange of fire with a SWAT team. The local police called the hostage situation a "workplace violence event." The two hostages were freed unharmed.
