An American soldier killed near Mosul

A US soldier died Saturday in an explosion near the embattled Iraqi town of Mosul, according to a statement from the military coalition fighting ISIS for Iraq’s second largest city. Some 500 US soldiers are part of a large Iraqi army seeking to liberate Mosul from three years of ISIS domination.
