An armored ambulance targeted by Hizballah disobeyed orders
One of the findings of the IDF inquiry commission scrutinizing the exchange of fire with Hizballah is that the armored ambulance targeted by Hizballah rockets between Avivim and YIron on the new northern road had no business driving there. The IDF had expressly banned traffic on that road. The ambulance carrying a doctor and four paramedics must have been in full sight of Hizballah armed squads watching the road from the Lebanese side of the border. The ambulance barely escaped being hit.
