An ISIS follower shot and wounded a police officer in Philadelphia

A police officer sitting in his patrol car late Thursday was shot three times at point bank range by a gunman. Despite very serious injuries, he exited the vehicle and returned fire. He hit the gunman who was quickly arrested, stating he had pledged allegiance to the Islamic State. Security has been heightened across  the US since a jihadist couple slaughtered 14 people in an Bernardino. Local police need to establish whether he acted alone or was part of a wider conspiracy.
