An Israeli soldier at the Erez crossing injured by mortar fire from Gaza

After Palestinians shelled the Erez crossing into the Gaza Strip and injured a soldier, Israel shut down on Tuesday the transfer of fuel, medicines and other essentials that were allowed to pass into the Gaza Strip.
