An Israeli soldier killed, three injured, in accidental grenade explosion

An accidental grenade blast at the Kfir training base in the Jordan Valley Saturday night killed a soldier and injured three, one seriously. The IDF is investigating the incident. First indications are that thegrenade was apparently picked up at a practice range after it failed to explode and the victim carried it in his bag to the soldiers’ living quarters where it blew up.
