Another car bomb targets Turkish police; second in last 24 hours
A suicide bomber detonated a car bomb on Wednesday morning in front of a Turkish police station in the southern city of Mardin on the Syrian border. According to initial reports, the explosion killed or wounded many people and caused major damage to the building. The attack was the second car bombing in the last 24 hours against the Turkish police. On Tuesday, a bus transporting policemen in Istanbul was bombed, leaving 13 people dead and dozens injured.
