Anti-Semitic graffiti “Juden” smeared on a Paris bagel shop

The shop window sprayed on Friday night with “Juden” is located in the 4th arrondissement of Paris, a historic area from which thousands of men, women and children were rounded up and deported to concentration camps in WWII. France’s Interior Minister, Christophe Castaner reacted with shock. “An anti-Semitic tag in the middle of Paris is one too many,” he said. Suspicion has fallen on the Yellow Vests who were out on the streets that and are known to number some neoNazis. The Paris prosecutor’s office has opened an investigation for “aggravated voluntary damage” and “provocation to racial hatred.”
