Arab countries shouldn’t make peace with Israel, Iran’s president says

Speaking on Wednesday at a conference in Tehran, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani urged Arab countries not to sign peace agreements with Israel. Rouhani claimed that Arab states, located close to or far from Israel, should not adopt the position that Israel and Zionism are not the enemy of most Muslim countries. He also claimed that the Palestinian issue is the most critical one in the Muslim world. The Iranian president made the speech during the closing ceremony of the two-day "Sixth International Conference in Support of the Palestinian Intifada". The conference was attended by representatives from dozens of countries and from the Hamas, Islamic Jihad and Hizballah terrorist organizations, as well as a group of anti-Zionist ultra-Orthodox Jews.
