Arab League brands Hizballah a “terrorist organization”

Arab League foreign ministers meeting in Cairo on Sunday described the Lebanese Hezbollah organization as a “terrorist organization.” Arab League Secretary Ahmed Aboul Gheit announced that the UN Security Council was to be asked to intervene against Iran’s intervention in the region on which there was a consensus among Arab states. “We are not declaring war on Iran at this stage and we are taking gradual steps,” stressed Aboul Gheit. “I hope that the message will reach Iran and that it will change its behavior in the region.” He accused Iran of being responsible for the firing of missiles from Yemen towards Saudi cities, of interfering in the internal affairs of Arab countries and of spreading destruction and hatred.

    From the headline story:

“Arab League foreign ministers meeting in Cairo on Sunday described the Lebanese Hezbollah organization as a “terrorist organization”.”

    Better late than never.

    Also from the headline story:

” He accused Iran of being responsible for the firing of missiles from Yemen towards Saudi cities, of interfering in the internal affairs of Arab countries and of spreading destruction and hatred.

It looks like it took awhile for the Arab League to finally realize who the “bad guys” are in the region. Again, better late than never!

UN Resolution 1701 was supposed to have prevented Hezbollah from rearming in Lebanon by UNIFIL and the LAF which both have failed in preventing the rearming of Hezbollah. The problem was the eastern Lebanon border with Syria that has allowed both Syria and Iran to rearm Hezbollah through there.

Yes, UNIFIL and the LAF were supposed such and so plus a lot of this and that based on UN resolution 1701. But Nasrallah pulled out the Hezbollah resolution -1701, which gives zero overall, because his army is stronger. Policing hardened thugs with kids never works. The league just said Ok to bomb, lets wait a little.

He might have a point. The LGBT community does not have an SPCA section, and the SPCA community does not have an LGBT section.

Actually Iran rearmed Hezbollah defying UN Res 1701. The UN should now either tell Iran it is defying 1701 or place sanctions on Iran.
