Arab Shiites stream to Iran for training to fight for Assad

Busloads of Shiite militiamen from Iraq, Syria and other Arab states are arriving at a base near Tehran in recent weeks for training with Revolutionary Guards instructors, the Wall Street Journal reports. Their mission: to  fortify the Assad regime “against Sunni rebels, the US and Israel,” after receiving instruction in urban warfare and Iranian clerical theology.
