Arabs forced to drop Palestinian Western Wall grab

A majority of delegations at UNESCO, forced the Arab bloc of states early Wednesday to withdraw the Palestinian draft resolution declaring the Western Wall, the holiest site where Jews may pray, an “integral part” of Al Aqsa mosque compound. Even UNESCO chief Irina Bokova and nations who normally back any Palestinian line automatically, including Russia and Cuba, urged the Arab delegations to drop this flagrant and inflammatory violation of the status quo at the holy places.
