Armed man on the loose in German school; police close off area

A man carrying weapons entered a school in Germany as classes were underway on Wednesday and remains on the loose, initial reports said. Police closed off the area surrounding the school in the town of Menden and a task force was reported to be en route to the scene by helicopter. Students at the school were told by loudspeaker to remain in their classrooms, the reports said.
