As Hajj begins, Egypt opens Rafah crossing for Gazans headed to Mecca

Egypt opened the Rafah crossing between Gaza and the northern Sinai Peninsula for the first time in two months on Tuesday. The crossing will remain open for three days to facilitate the passage of about 2,000 Gazans making the Muslim Hajj pilgrimage to the Saudi Arabian city of Mecca.
