As tension over NKorea rises, US deploys THAAD ahead of schedule
The US military started deploying its Terminal High Altitude Area Defense system in South Korea on Wednesday. The step came about two months ahead of schedule in light of soaring tensions with North Korea. The advanced THAAD system defends against short-to-medium range ballistic missiles.
