Assad denies that Syrian or Russian planes bombed UN aid convoy
Syrian President Bashar Assad on Thursday blamed the US for the collapse of the latest cease-fire in his country and denied accusations that the Syrian or Russian air force bombed a UN aid convoy near Aleppo. In an interview with AP, he also alleged that the bombing by US planes of a forward position of the Syrian army that killed more than 90 soldiers was "definitely intentional", refusing to accept the American explanation that it was an accident. Assad claimed Washington "doesn't have the will" to cooperate with Moscow in the war against ISIS.
