Assad threatens allied reprisals for US attack

Syrian ruler Bashar Assad denied he had “anything to do” with the chemical weapons attack last month near Damascus in an interview to be aired Monday night on PBS’s "The Charlie Rose Show." Regarding a possible US attack, Assad "suggested that there would be, among people that are aligned with him, some kind of retaliation if a strike was made."
