Assassination attempt against Hamas security chief in Gaza

Tewfiq Abu Naim, Hamas security chief in the Gaza Strip, escaped with injuries from an assassination attempt on Friday and was taken to hospital. When he started his car, after attending prayers at the Nuseirat refugee camp mosque, it blew up. First supposition is that Salafi groups linked to the Islamic State in Sinai were responsible for the attack, after Abu Naim ordered many of their members detained in recent weeks.
